CSD Car Cubic Capacity (CC) Limit for Various Ranks
The Canteen Stores Department (CSD) had specific guidelines regarding the engine capacity or cubic centimeters (CC) limit for cars available. These limits may vary depending on the rank of the individual.
Typically, higher-ranking officers have access to cars with larger engine capacities, while lower-ranked personnel can choose from a range of vehicles that fall within the CC limits specified by the CSD.

Armed Personnels of Various Ranks must keep in mind this CC limit while buying their cars. The car he / she is planning to buy, must be within the Cubic Capacity (CC) limit as prescribed in MoD letter No. 96350/Q/DDGCS/CAR/Policy 12 Jan 2016:

But the CC criteria may not be valid anymore after the new policy came into effect from 30 November 2022.

Special incentive will be given for purchasing electric cars. Additional 5 Lakhs limit will be given over the maximum limit.
This incentive is given in order to promote green energy and reduce pollution.
